Penguin Lapbook

The kids worked together to make this lapbook. I only found a free preschool penguin lapbook online so Rebecca and Joshua made their own pieces again–which they prefer anyway. Samuel made the penguin pictures along the sides. Inside are squares he cut out and glued in with the penguins’ names on them. Those are from Lapbook Lessons.
Rebecca did all the writing pieces to the right on her own. The only one I suggested was “free verse” because we had just gotten a book of free verse poems, and she was already writing two other poems. I should have opened “The Penguin Story” for you to see inside. It’s really cute. It’s a rebus with five little pictures you had to cut out and insert into the story.
Samuel did the penguin math and orange paper pieces. They are from lapbook lessons which has many other pieces too. Rebecca made the how to draw a penguin head piece. The how to draw a penguin piece is from here.
We didn’t use them but there are some more pieces to be found at Homeschool Share.
You can download the pieces my children made on the Free Stuff! page.

Yes, please! Finding your blog has been such a blessing I was burning out and needed something different in which I was not doing all the planning. We are using your American revolution downloads and want to do penguins as our science alongside it, and then I saw your penguins on a squidoo listing. Wow! I joined the yahoo group also. I want to do a write up on your awesome work for my blog if that is ok with you. Let me know if there is anything in particular you want me to mention.
